Where Tulsa's History Began

RedFork Main Street is a non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing the Southwest Boulevard Corridor, better known as Route 66, in Southwest Tulsa. One project at a time, we are working to breathe new life into the area. 

Rich with some of Tulsa's most important early history - including Native American, oil, railroad and Route 66 - the area suffered decline after a series of highway construction and urban renewal projects cut through its older neighborhoods in the 1950s and 1960s. 

Today the area still boasts the small-town feel with a collection of small businesses, civic-minded residents and one of Tulsa's most revered high schools, Webster. 

It also is home to some of the metro's largest employers including HollyFrontier Corporation, Goodwill Industries and Oklahoma State University's College for Osteopathic Medicine.

RFMS focuses its efforts on the business corridor, but collaborates with the Southwest Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, Route 66 Village and City of Tulsa among others to carry out its mission of revitalization.
